The Energy Transparency Index is a universal tool to comprehensively assess the availability and quality of information in the energy sector, diagnose gaps, make in-depth analyses, international comparisons and rankings, and track progress.
This international edition of the Energy Transparency Index is the 2nd comprehensive comparative study to examine energy transparency in Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine as countries most advanced in European integration among the Eastern Partnership nations. The study also covers EU member Romania, which is considered an appropriate benchmark for the Eastern Partnership and the Energy Community countries. The report contains multidimensional assessments, including progress made by countries, reveals transparency gaps, and provides targeted recommendations to public authorities and other stakeholders.
